
Solution to Clear the Message Alerts "Printing possible, but may Damage Drum Cartridge 1" Display on Canon 053/059 Series Printers

Background
Zhono engineer found that when the toner chip for Canon 053/059 series reaching its end, the message “Printing possible, but may damage Drum Cartridge 1” pops up on the screen(Figure 1). Model includes Canon LBP853Ci/LBP852Ci/LBP851C.

Zhono engineers has verified and confirmed that when the “Printing possible, but may damage Drum Cartridge 1” pops up on the screen, the prompt will dismiss and operate correctly after refill the toner and replace the chip.
Note: when the “prompt Printing possible, but may damage Drum Cartridge 1/2/3/4” displays(Figure 2), please check if the corresponding toner cartridge is empty. If so, please refill the toner and replace the chip.
